On Saturday night, Team FiFab completed the Shine Night Walk in Edinburgh, organised by Cancer Research UK.

A big well done to Marlene Joyce, Susan Allsopp, Kevin Davies and John Penman who completed a 10k walk in memory of our dear colleague and friend Lisa Manson.

We are proud to announce, Team FiFab raised the highest amount for any team participating in the Edinburgh event at £4,000. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who generously contributed sponsorship to such a worthy cause.

We walked through Edinburgh’s landmarks alongside the messaging of driving life-saving research encouraging everyone at each step of the journey.

From Edinburgh Castle to the Scott Monument and beyond, participants supported the work of scientists who are relentlessly striving towards new discoveries and breakthroughs.

Hopefully, in some small way we have played our part in finding a cure for this horrible disease.
