Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Show 2026 Recap
Fife Fabrications returned from the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Show last month following three focused days in Farnborough.
Held from 3–5 February 2026, the exhibition continues to be one of the UK’s most established engineering events, drawing together manufacturers, OEMs and supply chain specialists from across the country. For FiFab, it provided the ideal setting to reconnect with valued customers and open conversations with businesses seeking dependable precision sheet metal and electromechanical assembly support.
Footfall remained strong throughout the show, with a steady flow of decision-makers visiting the stand. The team recorded a strong number of new enquiries and welcomed existing customers across the three days, reinforcing the importance of the event within the engineering calendar.
Managing Director John Penman and Sales Manager Colin Paterson represented FiFab on site, discussing upcoming programmes, capacity planning and manufacturing partnerships for 2026 and beyond. Commenting on this year’s event, John said:
“This year’s show had a real sense of intent. Conversations were focused, with many visitors looking to strengthen their supply chains and build long-term partnerships. We came away with a strong pipeline of opportunities. It’s clear that manufacturers are planning ahead, and we’re well positioned to support that demand.”
The team extends its thanks to everyone who took the time to visit the stand, whether to progress an active project or to explore future collaboration.
Follow-ups are now under way with all contacts who requested further information. If you were unable to attend and would like to discuss sheet metalwork, electromechanical assemblies or precision machined components, please contact the team at sales@fifab.co.uk.
